I'm at a really odd time in my life where I can't really make art as much as a priority anymore, but I still want to try to make it work. This is a preliminary line drawing for the new painting(s) that took about 33 Hrs, but spread across a month and two weeks (started on the 18th of June, and usually only spend about an hour and a half drawing a day if possible). Of course this has little bearing on results, so CC and impressions on placement, composition etc. are welcome before I continue. I was inspired by this cover of a song when I started doing this artwork :D

Remember the WIP I posted a month or two back? I wasn't really happy how the whole artwork was turrning out (values, composition etc.), so I scrapped it and decided to remake a new one after binging some art books. It was kind of a stressful decision to make because of the time investment, though I didn't want to fall into the "sunk-cost fallacy" trap. I apologize to anyone looking forward to it; I only hope I can stick to the 80 hr time limit self-imposed on the new version, and I'm already about 18 hrs in the middle of finishing the pre-drawing phase. (logging my times now) Work expands the more time is alloted to it according to Parkinson
